Dear yomi,
You must know that it is the typical characteristics of ideology deficient politician in Nigeria to be on two lanes at the same time. Uume-ezeoke is neither ANPP nor PDP but ANDP; he only knocks out two alphabet either to the left or right depending on which side seem more likely to provide the next meal ticket.
Thank God her is not the Turakin Adamawa otherwise, Obasanjo would still have been our persecutor; sorry president with him as vice president. After all, tiny bread is better than no bread at all.

U.S presidency:obama has removed all doubt
by ilobi Austin
After last weekend’s first presidential debate between Senators John McCain and Obama Barack of the United States of America, it became obvious to observers why the Democrat presidential candidate Obama, had wanted the debate to hold as scheduled.
He was evidently better prepared and did not misuse the opportunity it presented, to disabuse the minds of the American voting public about not just his capability but superior interpretation of international affairs as it affects the interest of the united states of America, compared to his major rival who seems so enamored by his past even if not so impressive military service to the fatherland.
On questions relating to both the domestic economy and international affairs, he clearly out classed John McCain with well thought out practicable solutions; further putting a question mark on Mr. McCain so-called experience and pedigree; a factor on which his campaign has been anchored thus far.
Mr. McCain subtle reminder of the public of Obama’s inexperience and attempts to disconcert him with statement like” what he doesn’t understand” clearly did not register as could be seen in the poll conducted by CNN and Opinion Research Corp, which scored Obama 51% as against his 38% and Obama’s gentleman’s conduct in the face of obvious questioning of intelligence. A case in point was when he tried vainly to portray Obama as not knowing the difference between tactical and strategic planning in relation to the military.
McCain got it wrong when he said that the war in Iraq would be won by the United States armed forces. It is practically an impossibility to win against a determined people more so when the reasons for which the war was declared has since been disproved as non-existence. The Iraqis insurgents view the occupation of their land by the United States as a carefully crafted strategy by the United States to corner their God’s given rights and resources and enslave her people. The suicide bombers are not sacrificing their lives for any pecuniary gain from which they do not profit directly, not all, they do so because they can not live with this understanding.
The war in Iraq and in many parts of the world where the United States forces are involved like Georgia can only be won when the government starts investing in the development of alternative sources of energy which Mr. McCain seems not to favour going by his votes against such bills in the past. This would put nations with such resources at rest when they enter into any form of relationship with the United States and once and for all, put Russia in her proper place. Fancy the United States freeing some 10% of her current 25% daily consumption of world out put of crude oil: this would not just crash the price but put the suicide bombers out of business.
I am not unmindful of the effect of such a change of policy on our domestic economy if we continue to depend solely on oil otherwise, it would serve as the needed impetus to develop other resources with which we have been blessed and spread more evenly, the thirteen percent derivation.
Mr. McCain it appears would continue with the master-servant relationship of the Bush government with his constant chaffing of the idea of the president or rather, god of the United States sitting down “across a table” with people who wants the state of Israel wiped out of the face of the earth which Obama says he would do.
Obama was right when he asserted that the United States is less respected today than was the case before the September eleven attack even among her so-called allies who have teamed up with her more as a matter of economic imperative than conviction.
The world certainly can do without a war monger like senator McCain who has already started identifying his government enemies should he be elected. He has talked about the Russian president in ways that suggests a rough tackling if elected even when the United States needs Russia’s input in her war against terrorist rather than a diplomatic engagement like his opponent suggested and acknowledged.
His presidency like that of Mr. Bush will no doubt needlessly heighten tensions around the world if assessed by his statements during the debate.
