Terrorist listing of Nigeria: “Iraqing” Nigeria to maintain invisibility

No arm of the America’s security system, particularly, the CIA, likes to be caught napping and this is understandable. With each having a budget that is capable of industrialising the entire West African nation, yearly, nothing but Godlike perfection is for ever and a day expected by the over taxed citizens in terms of guarding and protecting them from both external and internal threats to their lives and property.

Therefore, when a slip occurs as it is wont do from time to time, since they are made up of essentially humans like the rest of us, their budget and self-talk of I am the best there is in this business of security, notwithstanding, like when Osama Bin Laden’s goons succeeded in puncturing holes in the usually tight security chain, topped by the CIA, and in the process, costing the nation and the world needless loss of human lives and property, the government then under the headship of Bush Jr., in a hurry to respond to the American public outcry for blood, rushed into Afghanistan, the purported home of Osama, to give justice, first hand, to him.

After spending months and resources scouring the mountains of the territory without success and on the verge of being demystified, the CIA redirected the war focus to Iraq, a state that had before the Osama pointless adventure in America, being deservedly, under a rain of assortment of bombs for practicing land grabbing with their weaker neighbour, Kuwait. This time, the accusation was that it had developed nuclear capability. The rest of the story as they say is now, history.

On 25th December of the year gone by when Christians and even non Christians were busy with the celebration of the birth of the LORD and saviour of mankind JESUS CHRIST, Abdul Mutallab Farouk Umar, a chap with Nigerian parentage but with the total British touch, in terms of education and social orientation, almost re-enacted the Osama disciples feat, when he boarded an American bound flight as a walking bomb with the sole aim of exploding it. To GOD be the glory, this did not materialize owing largely to the bravery of other travellers and his own clumsiness with the explosive substance, possibly because, the Nigerian in him took over and placed a big question mark on the entire exercise.

Prompt! The CIA, on the strength of the misadventure of a teenager who obviously had been recruited into the al Qaeda family, indoctrinated and brainwashed by senior operatives into taking a fancy for martyrdom for what he knows nothing about other than probably, videos and pictures of women and children displaced in some remote parts of the world he has never visited, on British soil, right under the nose of M15, and all its variants, , decided and quickly too, that the real culprit or offender was Nigeria and not Britain who soil seems to attract such devilish characters. Remember it was also in the same country that the KGB got rid of one of their, own, through poisoning.


After all, had Nigeria and Nigerians not rejected, and vehemently too, a CIA inspired African High Command that would have given them the need excuse to stomp all over the continent, particularly the gulf of guinea, with their marines? What better way than maximize the once in a life time opportunity that his Mutallab guy avails to revisit the high command issue with cheap blackmail—listing of the country as an inn for terrorist—that is designed to intimidate the government of Nigeria into throwing them a cart blanch to enter the country in search of al Qaeda oil and gas, as they have done in Iraq.

The world is already cottoned on to the CIA antics of coming out after every attack—both successful and unsuccessful ones—to claim prior knowledge and shifting of blame to other security agencies like the FBI under the excuse that the law setting them up does not allow them to operate inside the country. Mutallab came to Nigeria, as has been revealed, and then left with ticket that was paid for with cash, went to Amsterdam and joined a flight bound for America with the explosive substance attached or as his pampers or boxer. In this entire long journey, the CIA invisibility and omnipresence did not manifest itself. None, including their primary constituencies, America is impressed with such meaningless after thought, statement. And just to remember that they got help from the young man’s father by way of early information about a radical change in his conduct; something, his British host government could not detect.

Brainless idiots that they are, can they show the world Nigeria’s motives for harbouring such dregs. It is a known fact that the first port of call for any youth in Nigeria intent on leaving the country for greenest pasture is the United States of America. And you imagine that that country can ever come under the attack from Nigerians with the active support of the government. Do they know that some of the youths right here in Nigeria would fight on behalf of America against Nigeria should the reward be a chance to relocate to GOD’S OWN COUNTRY to escape the government poverty stimulants called policies like Sanusi’s deformation agenda on the banks back home?


Who we are: a nation of the suffering but smiling class in the majority, the wealthiest people in Africa but in the minority of minorities. Cowards generally—even our generals cry when they are told that death is by the corner. We want to live no matter the condition because we believe in the immortals words of our founding father, Dr. Nnamdi Azikiwe that, No condition is permanent. So why die when you know this. Let alone for mirage some where in another corner of the earth like Yemen or yeoman.

Our corruption is not out of proportion in comparison with the rest of the world. What is out of proportion is the highlighting of our case by us because it is not in our character. There are millions of Nigerians who would die of heart complications should you give them one million naira in cash.

It is the few ebubedike—bravest— amongst us who dare steal from the rest of us like some investment gurus do in America when they set up a thieving network that runs across continents and rakes in billions of dollar in one swoop . Ours is tied to our common purse while out there, it is designed to kill off the individual hardworking citizen.

We die if the death is on pages of newspapers. Remember somebody once granted an interview in Nigeria about killing Dr. Peter Odili during the approach to 2007 elections and claiming to have trained suicide bombers outside the country that would commence operation in Nigeria, if my memory still serves me right, in January of the following year. How many happened? None! Why? The bible says: the members of ones household are is worst enemies. We are the worst enemies of any of such attempt or character, even if it is for our own very ends.

If any nation deserves to be listed in this Mutallab palaver, it is Britain. It should not just be listed; the marines must go there and assist them in fishing the nuisance amongst them. No score in Britain going to Afghanistan with your marines when the same subject is thriving at home. But if it is about using Nigeria to shine— maintain their imaginary invisibility— then, they had better go fish some where else.

Now to this idiot called Farouk Mutallab that has dulled my belief in the Nigerian youth as the most intelligent and smartest of their kind any were in the world. I am yet to understand how a full blooded Nigerian could have bought the idea that suicidal bombing of a passenger plane carrying over two hundred persons could helps settles matters in some country beats my imagination. But then I remember that though a Nigeria, technically, you are not. You know almost nothing about the situation in Nigeria. Probably has never witnessed power failure, never struggled in a molue to get to your destination, never answered any body other than your dad, sir, never has been asked to queue in a bank since your dad is a top man in one, never been to a school in Nigeria, never has been angered by government policies and therefore, has a mind that is blank like a clean slate. So the suicide for heaven apostles came along, you saw in the act something to define your live by.

Ask those people to visit Nigeria and try the same sweet talking on any youth or even a mad man and see if his reaction would not include: you dey crazy. I tell you say I don tire for life. Your full father, God punish, your life.

Your dad however has no blame in all this. He thought he was doing you and the nation a favour by sending out to mingle with those who claim monopoly of knowledge including the fiction writers in CIA that ends up classifying their novels as security reports and gets paid by the government and people of America.

Though you are a Nigeria you are not of Nigeria. Designed in Nigeria but made in United Kingdom.
