1. You are longer the same: you have learnt a lot. You are longer the person that you were before starting out on that goal. You have by the fact of the very information you obtained during the goal pursuit, increased your content and therefore, your net worth.
2. You have invested time: you have paid a price. Both qualitative and quantitative. Remember? The hours invested in brainstorming? The cost of logistics? The socializing denied? What would be a just compensation other than total victory over your challenges? What about your friends who truly believed you could do it? And what about your foes, who have never seen anything good in you? Whose camp would you want to prove right or wrong?
3. You have set goals and involve your family. One way or the other, you got your family involved by invoking their name; not just yours. After this, can you still go back to them with another goal and expect it to be greeted with the same enthusiasm like the former? For their sake, wouldn’t it be worth it to succeed. Imagine the numbers of years it would add to the life of your dad or your “mumistic” mummy. Common, go achieve your dream. Go!
